Privacy
Malamas Devs Ltd is the controller for the personal data described here. We collect as little as the service needs.
What we collect
- Your account: work email and sign-in data, handled by Clerk.
- Your brand and test: brand handle, the details and market you give us, kickoff time, optional WhatsApp number, files you upload.
- Your content and its results: approved posts, captions, live links, and public engagement numbers (views, likes, comments, shares, saves) for posts we publish on our testing accounts.
- Site usage: page visits counted without cookies. Only if you accept cookies: PostHog analytics cookies and the Meta Pixel.
Why
- To run the free test and the pilot you asked for (contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, such as repeat free tests (legitimate interest).
- To measure our own website and ads, only with your consent. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s storage, and the banner returns.
Who processes it for us
- Clerk (sign-in), MongoDB Atlas (database), Cloudinary (uploaded files), PostHog EU (analytics), Vercel (hosting).
- Meta Platforms Ireland (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only with consent; emails are hashed before sending) and the Instagram Graph API for our own testing accounts.
- RapidAPI data providers, to read public engagement numbers of posts we published. They receive post links, not your personal data.
- Stripe, if you pay by card.
Some of these providers process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.
How long
Account and test data while your account is open and up to 24 months after your last test or pilot, unless the law requires longer (for example invoices). Uploaded files are deleted when a test closes without a pilot, or on request.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, by email. You can complain to your data protection authority.
